2005 – 2006:
Clint, Mike, and Erik begin collaboration as a 3-piece, each bringing his own style and
influence to the music. A show was offered to them for a snowboarding video premier at
the personal residence of the POW company owner’s personal indoor skate park. THE
PRODUCTIONSTS released their first album, Weapons of Mass Production, in
September of 2006 with positive reviews (story). A steady schedule of gigging followed.
2007-2009:
Gathering a steady stream of new fans the group pushed forward into bigger and better
venues, music, and acclaim while distributing over 1000 copies of their album (story). At the end
of 2008 they decided to work on another album with a different approach: more music,
more musical movements, more singing, and more relevance. The decision was made to
do all instrumental recording at their studio while doing all vocal recording, mixing, and
mastering at Undercaste studio in Seattle. www.undercaste.com Their website was
launched late that same year…productionists.com…
THE PRODUCTIONISTS were the also the recipient of What’s Up! Magazine’s award
for Best Beats and Rhymes, an award for which they won again in 2010 and 2011.
2010-2011:
THE PRODUCTIONISTS released their 2nd album in September 2010 (review / story).
After rotation in and out of the group by peripheral musicians and singers, Craig Jewell,
who had been performing and recording with the group since 2009, was asked to be a
permanent member. He gladly accepted and now lends his singing/guitar talents to the
groups recording and live shows on a regular basis. Rock N Roll Moment of the month.
